Pochas are a variety of white beans that are grown and harvested before maturity, when the natural sugars of the product are transformed into starch, making it a vegetable. They are usually grown in the orchards of Navarre, La Rioja and Álava during the months of May to September. The collection is manual and complete, choosing the pods that are at the optimal point of maturity. They are rich in iron, phosphorus, magnesium, vitamin C and fiber. With a sweet and creamy flavor, they are the perfect food to add to clams that are rich in iron. Making it a tasty, healthy and nutritious dish, recommended to the whole family and especially to people suffering from constipation, anemia and cholesterol
